Interview 1

Q1: What is your name and age?

A: I am Jaquinn Young, and I am 20 years old.

Q2: What year are you in college?

A:  I am currently taking a break from college, but if I wasn’t taking a break it would be my 3rd year here, a Junior.

Q3: When will you graduate?

A:  I’m not sure.

Q4: What is your major?

A: I study Computer Science.

Q5: Would you consider yourself to be tech savvy?

A: Yes, extremely tech savvy.

Q6: How familiar are you with the CUNYfirst system?

A: I am pretty familiar with it.

Q7: How often do you use CUNYfirst?

A: I use it A lot.

Q8: How is the login process with CUNYfirst?

A: When I started to use CUNYfirst you never had to add the @ login.cuny.edu, this was something they added in a recent update, but other than that it is fairly easy to login.

Q9: How has your overall experience been using CUNYfirst?

A: It’s alright, I guess.

Q10: Does CUNYfirst meet your Standards?

A: Not really.

Q11: What is main thing you go on CUNYfirst for?

A: To check how to remove holds on my account and register for classes.

Q12: Do you find it easy to find what information you are looking for on CUNYfirst?

A: Yeah, when you sign into CUNYfirst it has a little menu that gives you these choices: HR / Campus Solutions, Student Center, My Personalizations and firstSolutions Knowledge Base and when if you know what category the information your looking for is in you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Q13: If you had a choice what would you change about the CUNYfirst website?

A: I would change the fact that the website only takes up half of the browser, that does make any since, and all the pages are not proportional in size.

Q14: Have you ever used the CUNYfirst Myinfo app? If yes how is the overall experience?

A: No

Q15: Has the use of the CUNYFirst website made your college experience any easier?

A: Yes, its easy to register for classes, it shows all the holds on my account and what is causing it sometimes you need to see an advisor because you are taking the wrong courses, so they put a hold and let you know.

Interview 3

Q1: What is your name and age?

A: I am Ariz Flores and I’m 20 years old

Q2: What year are you in college?

A: This is my 3rd year in college, but I’m somewhere better a sophomore and a junior.

Q3: When will you graduate?

A: If ever thing goes as plan, no later than fall 2020.

Q4: What is your major?

A: My major is Computer information Systems CSI for short.

Q5: Would you consider yourself to be tech savvy?

A: Well I study computer systems so I’m pretty tech savvy.

Q6: How familiar are you with the CUNYfirst system?

A: Well I am a CUNY student and without CUNYfirst you can’t do anything so I’m very familiar with it.

Q7: How often do you use CUNYfirst?

A: I use CUNYfirst about 10 times per semester.

Q8: How is the login process with CUNYfirst?

Q9: How has your overall experience been using CUNYfirst?

A: Its been alright so far, I just hate fact that they decide to do maintenance on the website when you really need to use it.

Q10: Does CUNYfirst meet your Standards?

A: The website is easy to use, but it does look a little outdated for a university that teaches people to make websites. Overall, I get to do what I need to do so, yeah it sort of meet my standard.

Q11: What is main thing you go on CUNYfirst for?

A: I use CUNYfirst to check my schedule, to see if I have a hold on my account, or to check when I will get financial aid, but the main thing I use it for is to apply for courses.

Q12: Do you find it easy to find what information you are looking for on CUNYfirst?

A: At first when I start using CUNYfirst, it was a little difficult to find what I’m looking for but after a while it was smooth sailing.

Q13: If you had a choice what would you change about the CUNYfirst website?

A: I would make it mobile friendly, you ever went on CUNYfirst with your phone it does look good you could hardly see the whole page.

Q14: Have you ever used the CUNYfirst Myinfo app? If yes how is the overall experience?

A: NO, first of all I didn’t know they had an App, but now I know.

Q15: Has the use of the CUNYFirst website made your college experience any easier?

A: I’m not sure but I guess without it applying for classes would be hard, since I wouldn’t have the freedom to do it whenever and wherever I want.

Q1: What is your name and age?

A: I am Abraham Federicks and I am 20 years old.

Q2: What year are you in college?

A:  I am a sophomore.

Q3: When will you graduate?

A:  probably 2022.

Q4: What is your major?

A: I study Business administration.

Q5: Would you consider yourself to be tech savvy?

A: Not really technology isn’t really my thing.

Q6: How familiar are you with the CUNYfirst system?

A: I’ve used it a few times already.

Q7: How often do you use CUNYfirst?

A: Not that often.

Q8: How is the login process with CUNYfirst?

A: I’m not really sure.

Q9: How has your overall experience been using CUNYfirst?

A: It’s alright.

Q10: Does CUNYfirst meet your Standards?

A: Nope I would prefer something better, a better look a better layout, and more mobile friendly.

Q11: What is main thing you go on CUNYfirst for?

A: The only thing I use CUNYfirst for is to register for classes.

Q12: Do you find it easy to find what information you are looking for on CUNYfirst?

A: It’s not hard to find what you’re looking for on CUNYfirst there’s a search bar as soon as you log in.

Q13: If you had a choice what would you change about the CUNYfirst website?

A: The website looks really crappy so, I would change the look.

Q14: Have you ever used the CUNYfirst Myinfo app? If yes how is the overall experience?

A: I heard of the app, but I never thought about downloading it, maybe it looks better than the actual website.

Q15: Has the use of the CUNYFirst website made your college experience any easier?

A: There is no college experience without CUNYfirst and with out it I might have had to do a lot of paper work to get into a CUNY college or to register for classes so I guess it does.
